Features

Everything Arms & Ammo Log does, as it ships today. All of it works offline and stays encrypted on your phone.

Ammo, box by box

Every product you own, grouped by caliber, with rounds on hand at a glance.

  • Products by caliber, brand, bullet type and rounds per box
  • Add or remove one box in a tap, or several at once with a date and note
  • A low-stock limit for each caliber, flagged on Home
  • Totals by caliber and by bullet type
The Ammo list grouped by caliber, with rounds and a box count for each product and one-tap plus and minus buttons

Range trips and history

Record what you shot and your stock updates itself. Every change is kept.

  • Range trips take the boxes you shot off your stock
  • History by month, searchable, filtered by added, removed or trips
  • Correct or delete any entry, with undo
  • Nothing is ever lost: products and firearms are archived, not deleted
History by month, with a range trip called Club match and the boxes it used

Firearms

A record of each firearm you own, with the ammo you have for it.

  • Make, model, type, caliber, serial number, purchase date, price and where you bought it
  • Up to 20 photos per firearm, plus receipts, taken with the camera or picked from your phone
  • Serial numbers stay hidden until you tap Show
  • Ammo on hand for each gun’s caliber, with low stock flagged
  • Sold or transferred firearms are archived with their photos

Private by design

Your records leave your phone only in files you choose to save: an encrypted backup, or a spreadsheet or insurance report.

  • No internet permission: the app can’t send anything by itself
  • The database, photos and receipts are encrypted (AES-256)
  • App lock with fingerprint, face or a PIN, and it locks again after you leave
  • Hidden from the recent-apps screen, which also blocks screenshots
  • Backups are one password-locked file you save where you like; Android’s cloud backup is off
  • Spreadsheets and insurance reports aren’t encrypted: the app says so before you save one, and leaves serial numbers out unless you switch them on
The app lock screen: your records are encrypted on this phone, unlock to open them

Questions

Can I track ammo without adding firearms?

Yes. Ammo and firearms are separate: many people only track ammo.

What happens when a firearm is sold?

Archive it. It leaves your list but keeps its details, photos and receipts, and it no longer counts toward the free limit.

Can I use it on more than one phone?

Each phone keeps its own encrypted copy. To move to a new phone, make a backup on the old one and restore it on the new one.

Keep your records to yourself.

Free to download. Android only, coming soon to Google Play.
