How to use them
- Print on US Letter paper, landscape. They’re made for writing by hand, in black and white.
- Fill in the firearm sheet once, then update it when you buy, sell or transfer a gun.
- Count your ammo when you fill in the log, and again after each range trip.
- Photograph each firearm and its serial number to go with the sheet. See how to keep serial number records.
- Keep a copy away from your guns, so it isn’t lost with them. Your insurer may ask for it after a loss: see firearm inventory for insurance.
Rather keep it on your phone?
Each sheet has a QR code that opens Arms & Ammo Log, the same record on your phone: encrypted, with photos and receipts, a count that updates itself after range trips, and no account or internet access. It’s free for up to 3 firearms and 3 calibers.
